habe gerade einen bravo 4 blatt 22er als test auf meiner caravelle 232 interceptor
hab nen 350er drin mit nem alpha-antrieb
durch den momentanen algenbewuchs hab ich keine genauen daten was den max speed angeht, dieser lag aber mit nem 19er dreiblatt bei 55 mph
mein problem ist jetzt nicht nur das ich einfach den optimalen prop suche ( ich denke das wird ein 21 er mirage sein ) sondern ich hab das problem das beim gaswegnehmen mit dem bravo-prop mein boot nicht mehr lenkbar ist !!!
die kräfte die auf den antrieb wirken sind aus irgentwelchen gründen so gross das ich es selbst mit der servolenkung nicht mehr bewegen konnte.
hat jemand dieses problem schon mal gehabt ?
ich hoffe vor allem auf peter !!!!
servo-oil hab ich allerdings noch nicht kontrolliert - hatte aber auch noch nie probleme damit und kontrolliere regelmäßig !
bin gespannt was Euch so einfällt

To answer your question;
No way, the Bravo 4 blade will be causing this steering problems
Check (or have) your complete steering system for safety reasons !!
BTW, a big Bravo 1 4 blade would not be my first advice for your Alpha and small block application, but as always if you have the possibility to try props out, always do.
Put some test results on the forum and we might be able to help you out

das problem mit der lenkung hat sich mehr oder minder aufgelösst.
ganz zu anfang, als ich die caravelle gekauft habe ich eine neue lenkung eingebaut.
wenig später ist mir von der servopumpe das kunststoff-rippenriemenrad gebrochen.
das die räder dem druck dauerhaft nicht standhalten schien bei merc bekannt zu sein. es gibt einen kit um ein neues riemenrad auf die welle auf zu schrumpfen.
leider ist dieses riemenrad aber größer als das ursprüngliche und wird auch nur noch so hergestellt.
seit dem habe ich eine schwergängigere lenkung im standgas.
bei der probefahrt hatte ich ziemliche hecktig weil es nach regen ausgesehen hat. also habe ich - was ich sonst fast nie tue - das gas aus voll, komplett in standgas zurückgenommen. die pumpe förderte nicht genug öl und ich konnte nichtlenken weil der druck von der gleitfahrt natürlich sau groß ist.
also diese grube hab ich mir selbst gegraben !!!
moral :
seht zu das Euer vorhandenes riemenrad nicht zu sehr belastet wird !

as soon as possible i´ll write some test results with clean props!
