2011 I finally bought #4 of 5 built Activator 32. Pretty rare boat. She was rigged with a 930hp blower motor on SSM#6. I allready
had a new built 1100hp motor so when the 930hp went for lunch fall 2011 it's was no bigger catastrophe
I re-rigged the 32 and she was ready august 2012, I had a couple of test with her and by then I also realize that my time and motor knowledge was not enough to take this project to the finish line. She found her new home with a very experienced engine builder
here in Sweden. He will make some minor things sorted and the boat will show up on
www.powerboatweekend.com 5-7 july.
But meanwhile me and a friend (a boatbuilder) where talking about SVL boats and boats <30ft that don't need so much motor to be really fast and fun. We where looking at the "Roller Girl" - the only built 27 Activator with cockpit (I be tsome of you know what boat I talking about). To buy that one and make her really drivable and fast. I was talking to some people in New York that I know (I'm no Florida guy) and then Mark Schnepf (RAGE Powerboats former Activator) offered me to buy the 27 Activator mold set. And the boll was rolling.... My lack of time? hahaha. The main idea was/is to make a cockpit boat on the 27 hull. But to make the brand (Activator belongs to Mark Schnepf) stronger and more known here in our area I wanted to get some boat out real quick. The Swedish national stock class inboard (max 430hp) will be a good scen for it - Now Tony Sylsjö went from raced a Pantera 24 to a brand new Swedish built Activator 27
(the boat in pictures). Yesterday the second white boat came out of molds and that one would be great if someone would buy and rigg this and get on water this year. We are willing to sell it for civil purpose to - but on the hull will be marked "race boat". I'm open for diskussion - but you guys know the hull is the cheap part when it comes to rigg an fast and good performance boat. And to get to the point - as we speak a cockpit deck plug are in progress - that boat will be just around 28ft LOA.
Based on the 27 Activator. Will be a seamless design with 2 seats for race OR 2+2 seats för fast pleasure.
To be clear - my daily work is not boats - Since 25 years I work with advertising.
The people who builds the boats are very experienced boat builders!
